LOCOPOPO

Locopopo is a Mumbai-based independent Illustration and Design Studio. We work on pure design projects like identity design, packaging, illustration for brands, books, magazines and products. Our work has been featured, appreciated and awarded by well-known Indian and international publications, periodicals and awards juries like The One Show, Cannes Lions, Kyoorius Design and many more. Our line of illustrative products - LocopopoShop - draws inspiration from traditional and contemporary India, with a unique aesthetic.

LOKESH KAREKAR

Lokesh Karekar is the founder of Locopopo Studio and a visual artist specialising in illustration and design. His work reflects simplicity of form, composition and colour. His brand of contemporary illustrations includes of bold compositions and a variety of line-art inspired by local culture, travel experiences, and his personal observations. In 2015, Karekar was featured in the prestigious 'Forbes 30 under 30' list alongside leading young entrepreneurs of India. He is also the co-founder/editor of the visual art magazine - Hundred Percent.
